Great staff and excellent food. Tons of refills and unexpectedly large cuts of meat. Well worth the money plus sometimes Korean bbq can be really Lou, and it wasn’t bad here at all.
We drive by this restaurant quite a bit. In in a little stop mall with other restaurants. We decided to give this place a try. The Bimbibop is delicious. We ordered off the lunch menu. I had one of the combos. You choose a meat then choose an entre. In my case, I had the crispy pork belly as my meat and I had the bimbibop as my entree. The bibimbap comes with strips of beef, carrots mushrooms, noodles rice, and mushrooms. Comes out piping hit. The rice at the bottom of the bowl has a nice crisp texture. You also get side dishes of kimchi, pickled cucumber, pickled radishes ( two different kinds), and glass noodles. Come with a nice salad as well. Plus they serve Coke products which is a plus to me. The folks there are friendly and helpful and answered our questions. The ambiance is pretty casual. I will be back to try other items on the menu.
4.5 stars. The Korean bbq was truly excellent - we ordered brisket, short ribs, bulgogi, and a pork belly. The meat is grilled at your table and served with three great tasting sauces. Banchan side dishes were very good also. My dinner companion also liked the steamed eggs and the corn cheese. We ordered the 4 meat deal for two. An all you can eat option is also available. Service was excellent- quick efficient and friendly.
Highly recommend (top 3 Korean BBQ in DMV, imo). Food quantity and flavors were on point. It was our (2 adults) first time dining here and we tried Tan Combo "A"; thought the value was pretty fair. Definitely recommend you call ahead and make reservations. Somewhat unique, they use a fountain soda machine (surprisingly delicious) rather than canned soda.
One of the Best Korean bbq out there, my experience was abit rush , the place was fully pack, we were given a chose of waiting for 1hour or rush to eat there food because there was already a reservation for spot but we had to eat the food under hour : overall the meat was pretty good but sides are “Not” unlimited depending which combination you pick all the sides are not unlimited. The totally cost will depend on what you pick either regular size or large size of meats. The restaurant won’t charge you by person you have pick different size…. Overall experience 8/10
Went for their soft opening and it was a truly a great experience. We ordered the Tan A set and the meat quality was just phenomenal. Unlike some of the Korean bbq around here, the vent system worked and helped really pull the smoke away from the table. Just that alone deserves a 5 star review 😆😆. Come for the meat!
Very good Korean BBQ restaurant. We tried some Korean BBQ classics, bulgogi, cha dol, and kalbi. All cooked at the table to their perfection. The condiments were more than adequate, accompanied the main dishes very nicely.
Services were good. The wait staff worked like a team taking turn to make sure we had what we needed.
Overall good experience, I had made a reservation and was able to get my table on time. There was a total of 3 of us, so we ordered the large Tan A. I had thought it would be too much food but surprisingly, it was not enough, and we aren’t big eaters either. The total came out to be 48/person after taxes and tip. At the end of our meal after we paid, one of the waitresses started cleaning up our plates, note my friend was still eating meat, so I thought that was a bit rude. But nonetheless, the meat was super good, and the rest of the service was good. I would come back to try the omakase for sure next time.
